call to artists: project for the corner of lansdowne and college

at the intersection of College and Lansdowne there are 2 vacant buildings, a domino's pizza, and an unused parking lot.

this intersection is a hub; many streetcars, buses, cyclists, cars, and pedestrians pass through each day. nearby there is a grocery store, train tracks (cn and amtrack) and several residential areas.

what do the owners of this property intend to use it for? how could this space best serve the community as well as the people who pass through it? what actions could be taken to initiate discourse on the use of public space? how could this space be altered to positively effect the residents and users while easing the environmental impact of our mass transportation needs?
